BIOGRAPHY
Michel Galabru, son of a professor at the École Nationale des Ponts-et-Chaussées, has only one idea in mind: to become a professional footballer.

However, it was in the theater that he found his vocation. He went to Paris where, after two years of preparation, he successfully passed the entrance exam to the Conservatory of Dramatic Art. The young actor won a first prize and joined the Comédie Française in 1950.
